On Saturday, May 2, 2009, hundreds of Prince George's County residents came together as part of a new national movement to build awareness regarding the nation’s most common cause of disability – arthritis. Along with Mix 107.3, Willie the Clown and Bowie Baysox, participants sent the powerful message that they would continue to fight to ensure better support for those affected by the disease.
Despite personal struggles and economic circumstances, our volunteers, sponsors and participants across the metro DC region broke through barriers and ensured the most successful Arthritis Walk year in chapter history! CONGRATULATIONS!
We look forward to a bigger and better event in 2010 as we build arthritis awareness and improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. Until then, we are still fundraising! For a list of events taking place, click here.
